Birthday: March 20, 2023 Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Rocket has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts him. Everyone has experienced "the loud and proud family" where there's more than enough people in the group to satisfy a small nation and socializes that they are the main event! Well, Rocket certainly came from such a brood! However, he was a bit of an odd ball in his litter because he wasn't all about that kind of life! In fact, he's not one for excitement or loud pompous extravanganzas! He'd much rather chill with a human who understands the simpler things in life! Though he was discovered under a shed alongside his lively sisters, Rocket knew he wanted a more relaxing change of pace! He developed a bit of a shy personality, but he's a lover at heart. Every now and again, you might see that spark of playfulness from him. It seems that the guy can't seem to beat his genetics! Rocket is just one of those characters that will always invoke a smile out of you - one way or another! Though he can be a little anxious at times, we discovered that he seems to calm down whenever he has a kitty friend with him! So, if you happen to have a feline family member who needs a friend, Rocket might just be your ticket to happiness! Rocket's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocket was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocket’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocket’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocket’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
