About this Cat
Aspen and her brother Clover were found outside by Good Samaritans as it was starting to get cold, and they were brought into the safety of LCCR. Aspen and her brother took a while to get used to being inside, and the presence of a resident cat who bullied them didn't help. Once she moved to a new foster home with cats who liked her, she was able to relax and learn to love life. Aspen is positively obsessed with perching herself at a window. Her idea of the perfect day is laying in the sun in a cat bed by the window (honestly, sounds pretty wonderful, even for a human!) She likes cat trees as well, and will chirp at her people to be pet and for food. She loves to be petted and will purr in response. She will let people pick her up, and she is learning that laps are rather nice places (albeit a little more lumpy than a cat tree or a cat bed). She gets along with other cats just fine, but as a social introvert, she doesn't mind being by herself. She hasn't been exposed to dogs or little kids yet, so we can't say how she would do with them. But with her introverted side, she probably would prefer to be in a quiet house where she can treat herself to spa days at the window and then bop over to a person for attention and love. Aspen was born in April 2021 and is currently living in a foster home in Lemoyne. Aspen's adoption donation is currently $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative), microchip, and spay. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.

Adopt Aspen and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aspen's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Aspen's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Aspen, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aspen's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aspen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aspen’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Aspen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aspen’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
