About this Cat
VOCAL AND LOVING Meow! My name is Sam. My estimated date of birth is 4/13/2019. I am a talkative guy who will definitely make all my needs and wants known! I am a very loving and loyal cat who enjoys all the attention and company from humans I can get! I am calm and relaxed. I enjoy laser toys, but will get bored easily and go back to relaxing. I am gentle. I am sight-impaired and only have one eye. I previously lived with other cats and dogs, but have been a little on edge and defensive with the other cats at kitty corner. I do NOT attack other cats, but I will growl and walk away, so I wouldn't be a good friend for outgoing or dominant cats. The volunteers here are not sure if this is due to my sight impairment or shelter stress. I am a bit curious about the doors here; I will definitely need to be watched closely when doors open and close in my new home. would do best in a home with no young children do to my sight impairment. I do not like being left alone for long, and would be a good fit for a senior citizen, a retired family, or someone who works from home. I am at kitty corner, ready to meet you!
Contribute to Sam's Stash!

100% of Sam's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Sam.
Adopt Sam and Receive Sam's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sam's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sam's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sam, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sam's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sam was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sam’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sam’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sam’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
