SWEET, SASSY, AND ONE-OF-A-KIND Meow! I’m Stormi—a striking beauty with bold stripes, dazzling blue eyes, and a whole lot of personality packed into one sleek little frame. My estimated birthday is April 6, 2023, and while I may have the graceful looks of a Siamese, I definitely come with a touch of that legendary “Siamese sass.” I’m affectionate on my own terms—I’ll seek out pets and attention when the mood strikes, and sometimes I’ll even climb right into your lap and claim it as mine (fair warning: I may not let you leave once I’ve made myself comfortable!). I'm low-energy and laid-back most of the time, and I love lounging in cozy spots, watching the world go by. I’m also a very well-behaved girl—I use my scratching post faithfully and enjoy the occasional play session, especially if toys are involved. When I first arrived at Kitty Corner, I was unsure of the world and kept my guard up. But everything changed once I was promoted to “office cat”—free to roam, explore, and let my true colors shine. Since then, I’ve become a volunteer favorite, winning hearts with my sass, humor, and undeniable charm. I’m still an independent spirit, but I’ve learned to trust, and I love being part of the action (on my terms, of course). I did test positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus), which means I’ll need a home where any resident cats are fully vaccinated or, ideally, where I can be your one-and-only feline queen. I’m cat-selective and prefer that other kitties respect my space. I’m not a fan of dogs or young children, so a calm, quiet home with a patient and understanding human would suit me best. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stormi (FeLV+) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
