AFFECTIONATE AND QUIET Meow! My name is Lady. My estimated date of birth is 7/02/2019. I am a very sweet girl who loves affection! In the shelter, I haven't really sought out attention--I mostly just lounge in my bed--but once you give me a chance and start petting me, I can't get enough! I'll immediately begin strongly headbutting your hands and rolling over. I'm very quiet and gentle. At this time, I'm still adjusting to shelter life, so I am a little nervous. Years ago, I found myself at Forever Love Rescue and was adopted, but unfortunately, my owner became unhoused and made the difficult decision to bring me back to the shelter for a chance at a better life. I am good with other cats and I have experience with small dogs. At this time, I would do best with respectful, calm children as I'm feeling a little nervous. I am at the Kitty Corner, eagerly awaiting for my forever home!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lady was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lady’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lady’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lady’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
