About this Cat
SWEETHEART SENIOR Meow! My name is Winnie. My estimated date of birth is 6/12/2018. I am a volunteer favorite at the Kitty Corner! I am a precious senior girl with a beautiful coat, but do you know what's even more beautiful than my coat? My heart! I am a very loving but gentle girl. I like to have the top of my head gently petted, and I enjoy being softly spoken to. I am relaxed and calm. When I came to the Kitty Corner, I was shutting down at first and didn't know who to trust... once I realized I was safe, I became a total sweetheart. I began to seek out attention and even allowed my favorite volunteer to give me kisses on the top of my head. I have a soft, but noticeable purr. I have a unique set of ears: my own ear sticks upwards, while the other is a cauliflower ear. I do not like busy or loud environments, and I need my forever home to be quiet and calm. I would do best with an adopter who is soft and gentle. Other cats make me very anxious, so I will need to be the only cat in my new home. I find children to be overwhelming and distressing, so I would do best in an adult-only household. I do not have experience with dogs. I am at the Kitty Corner, could you help me find my forever home?
Contribute to Winnie's Stash!

100% of Winnie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Winnie.
Adopt Winnie and Receive Winnie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Winnie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Winnie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Winnie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Winnie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Winnie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Winnie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Winnie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Winnie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
