SHY BUT SWEET Meow! My name is Savvy. My estimated date of birth is 3/23/2022. I recently came to the Kitty Corner and I'm feeling a little defeated right now... For almost 3 years, I had a home of my own with a family who loved me very much. I was a very loving and affectionate cat. Unfortunately, I unexpectedly had to come to rescue--at no fault of my own--and I'm feeling very stressed. I am nervous and defensive. Now, I desperately need to find a home where I can build a strong bond with my special person. I am slowly coming out of my shell in rescue, but I will only flourish in a home of my own. I need a calm home where I will be allowed to adapt slowly and build trust. I am very quiet. There is a lot of love inside me, all I need is a family to give me a chance to show it! I am do not have experience with other cats. I have not been temperament tested with other cats at the rescue yet, but I will be soon! I have never been around dogs. At this time, I would do best in a home without children. I am at the Kitty Corner, come and meet me!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Savvy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Savvy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Savvy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Savvy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
