SWEET AND SASSY Meow! My name is Stormi. My estimated date of birth is 4/6/2023. I am a beautiful girl with stunning stripes and gorgeous blue eyes! I have a little bit of "Siamese attitude" and I can be a little sassy. I enjoy being petted and will seek out attention. I am very good about using a scratching post and like toys. Sometimes I'll sit on volunteers' laps and then won't let them get up! I am a very relaxed and low-energy cat. I would need a patient adopter with a calm, low-key home. When first coming to kitty corner, I was defensive and unsure. Since becoming an “office cat” and being allowed to roam freely in the rescue, my true personality is beginning to show! I am a volunteer favorite due to my sassy and entertaining attitude. I tested positive for FeLV and need to find a home where other cats are fully vaccinated or with no other cats. I would do best in a home without children or dogs, and am cat selective. If I'm in a home with other cats, I would need the other felines to give me my personal space. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stormi (FeLV+) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stormi (FeLV+)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
