UPDATE - Chip is STILL waiting... and we can’t figure out why! This boy is the total package—sweet, loyal, playful, and oh-so-lovable! Chip has been in his foster home for a while now, and they can’t stop raving about him. Walks like a champ on leash Gets along beautifully with other dogs LOVES kids ️ Thinks your bed is his bed (and honestly, who could say no to those eyes?) Chip would absolutely thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and explore safely. But more than anything, he just wants to be yours. ❤️ Looking for your new best friend? Chip is waiting with his tail wagging************************************ Poor Chip ended up in a rural shelter. His time was up. He didn't know it but his death date was set :( We saved him on the day he was to die because a foster home opened their hearts and home to save his life!! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chip was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chip’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chip’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chip’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
