Buster & Ducky are in the same foster home. They love going on truck rides and walks every night. If you would like to meet Buster please fill out an adoption application and if Buster approves we will invite you for a visit to meet him :)This poor young guy found himself in a rural shelter in SC. Unfortunately this shelter doesn't get many dogs out alive. Buster was set to die on Thursday, 2/13/2025. He had no idea that he wasn't going to get to run and play anymore! We couldn't let that happen and pulled him in his final days because we found a foster home that was willing to open their hearts and home to help him!!If you think you are the right home for Buster please fill out a form on our site at 2ndChance4LifeRescue.org because we do not get applications from other sites.Thank you for choosing rescue. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buster's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buster was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buster’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buster’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buster’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
