About this Dog
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Found as a stray, Miranda is a sweet, sweet girl who has such a zest for life. She is a petite terrier mix, around a year old and less than 35 lb. We think she’s just a perfect size! She is a beautiful brindle girl with cookies-and-cream paws. Miranda is very loving and wants all the pets and belly rubs, but is also happy to sit by you with her toys and chill. She has a lot of puppy energy and adores the outdoors, so it would be best for her to find a forever home with active people. She loves to walk and hike and play outdoors, and has learned to leash walk very well! She continues to work on that and recall with her foster family. Miranda gets along well with other dogs, especially those with an active play style. She can be skittish meeting new people and kids make her nervous so we are recommending an adult only home at this time until she builds confidence. Miranda is wickedly smart and eager to learn. She is already house broken! We have no doubt that with love and continue training, she will be a fantastic companion and addition to a loving family. Email [email protected] to meet Miranda today! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at [email protected]. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!

Adopt Miranda and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Miranda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Miranda's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Miranda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Miranda's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Miranda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Miranda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Miranda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Miranda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
