About this Dog
Available for adoption! Piggy is a super snuggly and 100% purely sweet 10-12month old lab mix puppy whose loving-eyes make everyone fall in love at first sight. She is 35-40 lbs, potty trained, crate trained and just overall a super submissive and sweet girl. Piggy loves to curl up with humans and dog friends on the sofa and will stay there for pets and belly rubs for as long as you’re willing! She is a total mush and love bug. She is equally cuddly with dog and human housemates and will shower both with kisses to show her affection. She loves all people, other dogs, chew toys, and being out in the yard playing with pals. Her gorgeous chocolate coat fades to black on her feet, tail, and head. Piggy came to the shelter with a litter of five other puppies. She is the last of her litter that we were able to pull from the shelter to help find their forever families. Her foster mom said we saved the best for last but she might be a little biased. She hasn’t barked or whined a single time and likes her crate. She spent pretty much her entire life in the shelter so she likes to collect the new fun toys she has access to and brings them into her crate, but is always happy to share! Since she’s still a baby and spent most of her puppyhood in the shelter, Piggy would do especially well with another dog to play with her and show her the world isn’t so scary. Piggy will require a fenced yard for now since she is not sure about leash walking yet. Please email [email protected] to request an application if you’d like to set up a meeting with this sweet and loving lady. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at [email protected]. Adopt Piggy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Piggy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Piggy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Piggy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Piggy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Piggy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Piggy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Piggy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Piggy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
