About this Dog
Meet cowboy! This sweet boy is a great size- about 32 pounds and 2 years old. He’s possibly a dachsund mix, but we’re not sure. He is looking to hang his hat anywhere with a basket full of toys. He LOVES them and entertains himself well. Cowboy has been having fun and playing nicely with the female resident pup in his foster home. There are also kids ranging from 4-12 and he hasn’t shown signs of aggression or fear around them- just lots of lap snuggles. Cowboy walks well on a leash. Although he does pull when he sees some wildlife, but he’s not too much to handle. This guy sleeps quietly in his crate through the night and takes breaks in there throughout the day. He is quick to hop in the car for a joy ride. Cowboy is doing well with potty training and has fallen into the routine of his foster home quickly. It doesn't seem as though a yard would be a requirement for Cowboy and he could be a solo dog but would also enjoy a playmate. Cowboy is not a fan of kitties. This compact cutie is ready to find his forever family! To apply send us an email at [email protected]! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! Adopt Cowboy and Receive Cowboy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cowboy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cowboy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cowboy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cowboy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cowboy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cowboy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cowboy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cowboy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
