About this Cat

Chloe was rescued in July/August 2018 from outside of a friend’s house when she was about 8 weeks old. She was brought into our home with two older kitty siblings, her sisters were one and two years older than her and they all got along very well from day one. A year later, she also got a little brother who she mothered and took great care of. She has been the most laid back, care free, and extremely snuggly and loving kitty we have ever owned. She does demand attention but in the sweetest and most loving way. Very often you will glance across the room and realize she is staring at you so lovingly and gets very excited when you look at her which she shows by talking to you. She will often walk up to you while staring lovingly into your eyes as she slowly starts to snuggle and hug you. She loves belly rubs. She does have a mischievous side and likes to play fight with her siblings and she needs plenty of scratching posts as she does like to scratch a lot. The only negative trait with Chloe is in regard to peeing. If you decide to give Chloe a loving home, you just need to ensure you do not have any sort of excess of cloth material of any kind laying about. She does NOT do this often at all but we think it’s if she feels like she isn’t getting enough attention or if she is scolded for something. she has peed on the clothing of whoever she was “mad at”. As long as she gets regular attention and isn’t harshly scolded (she responds VERY well to just showing her a spray bottle without having to use it). This is absolutely NOT why we unfortunately have to rehome her.

Adopt Chloe and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chloe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Chloe receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Chloe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Chloe's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chloe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chloe’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Chloe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chloe’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
