About this Dog
Hello! My name is Hera and I am a 2-year-old, 67 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I am well-behaved when left home alone uncrated. I am a friendly girl with men, women, and young children. I love to be near my people and am often not far away either laying on a dog bed or sprawled on the floor. I love belly rubs and snuggles! I am fostering with a toddler and am gentle with him. I do well with visitors to my foster home as well. I have done well with other medium to large dogs after slow, proper introductions. I prefer males over females and will engage in play with my foster brothers in the yard! I like having toys accessible to carry around. I don’t really play tug or fetch, I just like to trot around with a soft plushy toy in my mouth! I have done well with the dog-savvy cats at my foster home after slow introductions. I do well for walks and walk well on leash! I have been learning how to jump in the car on my own, though you should be prepared to lift me in while I am still learning. Once I’m in, I ride well! I can be insecure when I am away from home and can struggle with training in new environments so I have been working a lot on engagement and confidence building. I know sit, down, and a good foundational recall. I do best with a confident handler who can offer me guidance in situations where I become unsure. I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS: I require a Hill’s Biome prescription diet to maintain solid stools which costs approximately $150-$180 per month. I am an affectionate, lovely girl who would love to find my perfect adoptive family—could that be with you? Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogHera For more information, please contact [email protected]. Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required! Adopt Hera and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hera's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hera's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hera, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hera's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hera was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hera’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Hera’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hera’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
