About this Dog
Lila is learning not to be scared of the world. She is only 1 but had a tough start in life. An owner surrender from Texas, owners stated she'd been found as a stray but didn't get along with their 2 pugs. She's struggling figuring out how to be friends with dogs due to behaviors that can be unpredictable but we are muzzle training her so that she can slowly be integrated with other dogs safely and learn to let down her guard and enjoy herself. She can be really charming, rolling around in the soft grass, seeking out snuggles and pets...she walks well on leash, knows sit and come, is crate and outdoor kennel trained and potty trained and is eager to please the humans she seeks approval of. She is an adorable 30 lb Texas special. Perhaps part Feist/Staffy with her bat-like ears, red coat, short black muzzle and cute little badger body! She definitely needs to go to experienced adopters with no small pets and to at least start out as an only pet. 1 free training session and adoption counseling included as well as martingale collar and leash, jacket for cooler temperatures and a muzzle.

Adopt Lila and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lila's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lila's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lila, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lila's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lila was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lila’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Lila’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lila’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
