About this Dog
KUGEL arrives on Sat Jan 29th to the Portland area and is in search of a foster or foster to adopt home! This beautiful mixed breed (heeler etc) spayed female 4 month old puppy weighs 28lbs and will become an amazing, loyal pet! Kugel and siblings were rescued in Houston Texas, having been dumped in the woods. Thanks to a Good Samaritan who was on his way to work, they were whisked into his car where he brought them to work in order to save their lives! The pup's microchips were later tracked to a shelter and from all indication, were adopted as "cute young puppies" but dumped when the work required superseded their "cuteness". This is an altogether prevailing course of events for 1000s of Texas dogs. Now it's time for these beautiful dogs to find their forever homes in the Northwest! "Kugel is a sweet and active puppy who loves to play and zoom! She is very dog social and takes cues from our resident dogs very well (whether those cues are play or "leave me alone"). She has picked up a few commands already (sit, hand touch, go to bed, go potty) and is both food and toy motivated. Although she is very much a puppy and will get into mischief if left unattended (chewing on furniture, stealing phones, climbing out of her xpen...), she is doing great with the crate and with going potty outside. She also does get mouthy, bitey, and jumpy when excited, but happily redirects to a toy for playtime (she'll entertain herself with a toy as well!). Although she is very curious about our cats and wants to play with them, she doesn't get too close and I think she could live with them successfully after a proper introduction and some training. She will steal your heart with her "roorooroo" happy barks and her sweet and snuggly nature!" Foster: Emily Pitts

Adopt Kugel and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kugel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Kugel's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kugel, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kugel's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kugel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kugel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Kugel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kugel’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
