About this Cat
This is Chicken and he's a former stray from LA and has been with me in Eugene, OR for about a month. He is neutered, microchipped, and has his rabies vaccine. Chidcken is about a year old. Chicken is FIV+ and currently in good health. HeHe is still adjusting to being an indoor cat and seems like he would enjoy having a cat friend to show him the ropes of being an indoor cat and to play! If you have an FeLV + cat and he needs a friend, Chicken is applying for the job. A home with a respectful dog would be great too! Of course this retrovirus does not spread to other species, including humans. While it is true that FeLV can cause a shortened life, Chicken is still a young, playful cat that needs the same love and attention as any other feline! Good high-quality food and regular vet care is important as it is for any animal. Chicken is very playful and has a lot of energy. He enjoys looking out windows and jumping around. He loves to play with strings and toilet paper tubes. He's very cuddly and warms up to people quickly. I currently in a studio apartment and it's a bit small for him and I cannot spend very consistent time with him since I'm in college so I am fostering him until we find a forever home. He's a love bug and needs a home where he has lots of room to play and people to cuddle. Chicken is indoor only and wants a home with a willing lap, room to roam indoors and a person - or two - to snuggle with. Can you provide care for this loving teen? His rehoming fee is $45 and the reward of unconditional love is priceless. Chicken lives in Eugene with his rescuer.
