Mama was picked up during a recent TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) effort on our street, and it’s a good thing she was — she was dangerously thin and starving, and to our surprise, pregnant. Since being brought in, she’s been steadily gaining weight, recovering beautifully, and showing her true personality: incredibly friendly and full of love. Despite every effort to find her previous people — posting online, asking around the neighborhood — no one has come forward. So now, after a month in care, she’s ready to find her real forever home. Mama has a voice like a raspy old jazz singer and loves to use it! She’ll tell you all about her day, her thoughts, her feelings, and probably yours too. She’s endlessly entertaining and will make an affectionate, engaging companion for someone lucky enough to bring her home. She’s earned her second chance — could it be with you? Rehoming fee is $50. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MAMA - Offered by Owner was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MAMA - Offered by Owner’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MAMA - Offered by Owner’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MAMA - Offered by Owner’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
