About this Dog
🐾 Sawyer & Scarlet Are Looking for Their Forever Home — Together! 🐾
Sawyer and Scarlet are a sweet brother-and-sister pair who will be 5 years old this November. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our family is unfortunately no longer able to provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
Both Sawyer and Scarlet are up to date on all of their shots/vaccinations. They are wonderful with children and cats and would thrive with a loving family that has a large yard or plenty of space for them to run, play, and get exercise.
They do have some difficulty socializing with other dogs, so a home without other dogs would be the best fit for them.
Our biggest hope is to keep Sawyer and Scarlet together. They have spent their entire lives side by side, and finding a family willing to open their home and heart to both of them would mean the world to us.
📍 Location: Portland, Oregon 🚗 Transportation: We are willing to transport Sawyer and Scarlet to the right family at our expense.
If you or someone you know can provide these two with a safe, loving forever home, please text 213-272-1887.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and helping us find Sawyer and Scarlet the home they deserve. ❤️🐶

Adopt Sawyer and Receive Sawyer's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sawyer's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Sawyer receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sawyer, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Sawyer's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sawyer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sawyer’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Sawyer’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sawyer’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
