Hi everyone! My name is Anya and I am looking for my forever home. I am believed to be about 10.5 years old. We don't know for sure because I was dumped! I don't know why because everyone says I am a doll! I am very laid back and like to lay on the couch and just hang out with you. I currently live with another dog and 3 cats and we all get along great! I am good with kids too. I will let you know when it is time for me to go outside to do my business or when I need a treat. I am still pretty spry and have no physical limitations. I just finished up treatment for heartworms, but I am now heartworm free and doing great! I am a good at the vet and around all people. I like people a lot and would really like to sleep with you. I'm not a big girl (32 lbs) so I won't take up much room in your bed. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ON/Anya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ON/Anya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ON/Anya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ON/Anya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
