Albert is a medium large gentle dog who is submissive. Medium energy level. He can settle down nicely but is still young so some daily exercise, play time would be best. He has done great with big and little dogs in the foster home. Will need some time to adjust to a new home and new people. Still needs some work on leash since he is scared of where he is going. He flattens on the floor but patience and treats, that has helped, so a home with a backyard would be a great fit for him. He is potty trained and will whine and bark a bit when needs to go. Still a bit of a puppy so he likes toys but sometimes might get confused on what is not a toy. Likes to play fetch with a ball. Once he has a good routine schedule going, he is quiet throughout the night. He does good in a crate when we are away from home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ALBERT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ALBERT’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ALBERT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ALBERT’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
