About this Dog
Marla was dumped near our property with another dog a couple of months ago. Her companion was hit by a train, so she was surviving on her own for about a month. She followed us home one day before a really bad storm blew in. We have been fostering her ever since. She is still a puppy, so I anticipate her to be a 50-60lb dog when she is mature. She has beautiful white eyes, but everything else points to black lab (snout, ears, tendencies, demeanor). She loves to snuggle and we have trained her to not jump. Comes on command, but does tend to wander. We have given her heart, flea and tick medications recently. We are willing to pay for her to be spayed. Loves kids and does well with our other 4 dogs. Learning to not be curious of cats. A truly happy dog and will make a great companion to a loving owner or family. Willing to do whatever it takes to find this sweet doggo a loving home.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marla was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marla’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marla’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marla’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
