About this Dog
Arya is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a very sweet, loving, and affectionate personality. She is definitely a cuddle buddy and loves being close to her family. She especially enjoys belly rubs, getting attention, running and playing outside, and then coming inside to relax and take a nap.
Arya is house trained and kennel trained and is accustomed to living indoors as part of the family. She has been around children and does very well with them. She is loyal to her family and can be protective of her home, so she may bark or become alert when someone approaches or when she hears something unfamiliar.
She has an energetic side and enjoys having opportunities to run, play, and exercise, but she also has a calm and affectionate side and is happy just spending time with her people. A home that understands larger dogs and can give her regular exercise, attention, and companionship would be a great fit.
Arya is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Overall, she is a very loving and loyal dog with a lot of affection to give. Her main challenges are that she can be protective and vocal, and because of her German Shepherd/Husky mix, she benefits from consistent exercise and structure. She would do best with a family that will include her in their daily life and give her the love and attention she deserves.

How will Arya receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Arya, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Arya's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Arya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Arya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Arya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Arya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
