About this Dog
Ace is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix. He is a very loving, loyal, and affectionate dog who enjoys being around his family. He loves attention, belly rubs, running and playing outside, but he is also perfectly happy relaxing and taking naps around the house.
Ace is house trained and kennel trained and is used to living indoors as part of the family. He has been around children and does very well with them. He is protective of his home and family and can be alert and vocal when someone approaches the house or when something gets his attention.
Because of his German Shepherd/Husky mix, Ace has a good amount of energy and does best when he has opportunities to exercise, play, and spend time outside. He can get excited and energetic, so someone who is comfortable with larger, active dogs would be a great fit for him.
Ace is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Overall, he is a sweet, loyal family dog who deserves a home where he can receive plenty of attention, exercise, and love.
I want to be completely transparent about Ace so that he can be placed in the right home. He can be protective and vocal, and because he is a larger, energetic dog, he may need someone who understands his breed mix and can provide him with consistent exercise and structure. Other than that, he is a loving dog who has been a wonderful part of our family.

How will Ace receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ace, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Ace's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ace was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ace’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Ace’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ace’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
