Meet Raven! Born November 12, 2023, Raven is a spayed husky mix who's ready to bring energy, joy, and a little sass into your life! She’s up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and Lyme-negative—healthy and ready for her next adventure. Raven is full of life and loves to play, especially with toys and a good game of tug. She’s definitely on the hyper side (as young husky mixes often are), but her sweetness and eagerness to connect shine through. She can be a little cautious at first, but she settled in quickly at the shelter and has been charming everyone since. She does well with adults, older kids, and larger dogs—but she’s not a fan of cats or small dogs. True to her breed, she’s curious and alert, but we’ve only heard her signature husky bark a couple of times so far. With her striking looks, playful spirit, and loyal heart, Raven is looking for a home that understands her energy and can offer the structure and space she needs to thrive. She’s the kind of dog who will pick her person—and once she does, it’s a bond for life. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Raven was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Raven’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Raven’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Raven’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
