About this Cat
I adopted Pepper 8 years ago as a kitten. He has been a constant companion always by my side. He loves to play and eat. He is fixed and up to date on shots. He is shy at first but with time and patience will come to love you. Pepper is great with other cats - he is a great big brother. He has not been around dogs yet. He is an indoor cat but will go outside after a fresh rain. He is vocal when he wants something and will come and get me to follow him to show me what he is wanting - sometimes it's catnip, sometimes it's to let him outside, or sometimes he wants more food or treats. He's very smart and you will appreciate his connection with you. He is very in tune with his human. He likes to snuggle in the morning, when his belly is full, he comes over to show his appreciation for the yummy breakfast. He likes to jump in an empty box or basket - to play hide and seek. You will absolutely LOVE Pepper! I am rehoming as I am moving cross country with multiple huge life changes. He needs stability and predictable home life. He deserves that and I only want the best for him. Thank you for considering Pepper.

Adopt Pepper and Receive Pepper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pepper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Pepper receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Pepper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Pepper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pepper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pepper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Pepper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pepper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
