About this Dog
Meet Maisy, a charming 3.5 year-old lab mix weighing 36 pounds, on a quest for her forever home. Rescued from the Humane Society in January 2023, Maisy is savoring her newfound freedom, adapting to home life with each passing day. Initially shy, she transforms into a playful pup once trust is established. Maisy delights in leisurely walks, has a penchant for playful destruction of toys, and may sneakily borrow your shoes. Fully house and crate trained, Maisy awaits a patient and loving family to share her joy. She goes into protective mode with dogs initially. Please don’t pass her by because of this. Her past has taught her to do so. She opens up within days and has never hurt a pup. She just doesn’t trust them initially. She does best with male dogs who aren’t constantly in her face. She currently lives with a large dog who she plays with and has stayed at a home that has other large dogs while on vacation. She’s done wonderful! She just needs a few days to open up and trust them. Maisy is ready to steal hearts and bring happiness to her forever home. Her adoption fee is $200 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.

Adopt Maisy and Receive Maisy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maisy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maisy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maisy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maisy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maisy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maisy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maisy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maisy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
