Lady Bug originally sat in a Florida shelter longer than most and was on the euthanasia list when a family stepped up to save her! Unfortunately, after her new "sister", Peanut, a Havanese became blind and deaf, she began attacking Lady Bug. Lady Bug never reacted but it has put her quality of life in a dismal position. Lady Bug's owner is being deployed and can no longer keep her. We are unsure of her with other dogs as she has only been with little Peanut. Unsure of cats but loves all humans. Please let's get her into her forever home!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lady bug was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lady bug’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lady bug’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lady bug’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
