About this Cat
Hi! I'm Gwen. My life started out a little scary—I was found all alone in a park, a tiny orphan trying to be brave. I would puff myself up and hiss to keep the world away. Thankfully, Rose's Rescue volunteers scooped me up and brought me to safety, and now I’m discovering what it means to feel safe and loved. At first, I gave my foster mom my very best hisses and puff-ups, but the yummy pate she fed me three times a day quickly won started to relax. Now, I purr when she pets me, knead muffins on her arm, and even enjoy snuggling. It's pretty cool. My foster mom especially loves rubbing my little ear tufts, and I think I like it too! I’m still a bit more reserved than some kittens, but every day I grow braver. I’ve discovered toys, playtime, and other foster kittens to romp around with. Hearing their happy purrs has encouraged me to join in, and I’m slowly learning how fun it is to trust and play. I even had my very first “spa day,” a nail trim and brushing! Foster mom calls it a “mani-pedi and fur-do,” and to her surprise, I did great and enjoyed the extra pampering. What I’m really looking for now is a loving forever family who will give me the time and patience I need to continue blossoming. If you have a room in your heart (and lap!) for a sweet, reserved girl like me, I promise I’ll reward you with purrs, biscuits, and endless gratitude. Gwen's adoption fee of $100 includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Gwen is about 4 months old and being fostered in Stow, OH. For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking on More About Rose's Rescue - you may fill out adoption application from there. Adopt Gwen and Receive Gwen's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gwen's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gwen's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gwen, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gwen's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gwen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gwen’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gwen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gwen’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
