About this Dog
Buddy is a 2 year old, 75lb, male lab mix. This handsome dude came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. Buddy is such a fun, good boy who loves everyone he meets - dogs and humans alike! Upon intake, it was found that Buddy tested positive for both Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis, both tick borne illnesses. Thankfully, he is undergoing treatment and isn't expected to fully recover without long term effects! In order to perfect the basics, Buddy is enrolled in the 'cell dog' training program where he is working on crate training, leash walking and general obedience. He does well with other dogs, and dog educated children. He has never been around cats to our knowledge, so proper testing would be necessary. To meet Buddy, please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.htmlBuddy's adoption fee is $350, which includes his neuter, deworming, vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies), tick disease treatment, cell dog obedience training and microchip with lifetime registration.*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a dog. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you! ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates: facebook.com/trhap2014Apply at https://theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form/
Contribute to BUDDY's Stash!

100% of BUDDY's balance will be sent to whoever adopts BUDDY.
Adopt BUDDY and Receive BUDDY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BUDDY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BUDDY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BUDDY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BUDDY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BUDDY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BUDDY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BUDDY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BUDDY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
