About this Dog
Wilbur here, I am an energetic, long legged lab mix, of 1 year and 65 pounds. I need a strong leader to help me gain confidence. My nice family loves me, but they know they cannot provide me with the level of exercise I need. Their sweet 6 year old son is great with being my play buddy. I am a little bit much, so 8 and up would be best. Teenagers would be great to wear me out. Maybe I could jog with them or play football. I am smart and have great potential. I am a graduate from professional basic training. I know heel, sit, down, stay, place, come, and shake. I am dog friendly and could be your dog's playmate. Two dogs is better than one. We work each over, when you can't. I have not seen a cat, so I am unsure about that. I am crate and house trained, so all ready to go. I would like a fenced yard to run and stretch my long legs in. I am a young boy , that would like activity and new adventures. Are you active? I have my running shoes on. A free training session comes with me. Please begin the process of claiming Wilbur-Ready for Adventure's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wilbur-Ready for Adventure was not returned. We want the Wilbur-Ready for Adventure’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wilbur-Ready for Adventure’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
