Meet Stella – A Tiny Diva with a Giant Heart! Stella is the kind of pup who turns heads and steals hearts. This petite, spunky girl has all the sass of a diva and all the sweetness of a loyal best friend. She came into rescue through no fault of her own when her beloved owner could no longer care for her due to health issues—and now she’s ready to find a forever home that will cherish her for the little star she is. At first, Stella may approach new people with a bit of caution—she’s thoughtful like that. But give her a little time and patience, and you’ll quickly see her affectionate, shadow-you-everywhere side emerge. Once you’re in her circle, she’s yours completely. Stella adores being with her people and has a hilarious habit of climbing into chairs at the table so she doesn’t miss out on the action—yes, she’s basically convinced she’s human, and we’re not going to argue! She’s also a top-tier cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle in and soak up the love. She gets along well with other respectful dogs, especially those of similar size, and would do best with a calm companion who matches her energy. Stella has also done well with cats once properly introduced—she genuinely seems to enjoy their company. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys several short strolls a day. Stella does best when kept on a consistent potty schedule and thrives with routine and structure. While she doesn’t like being outside alone, she’ll happily stay by your side if you go out with her—she just wants to be where her people are. Because of her small size and more delicate nature, a home without children under 12 is required. Stella would do best with an experienced dog owner who can continue to help her build confidence and feel secure. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stella -OS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stella -OS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stella -OS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stella -OS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
