About this Cat
I took in #2, 8-week-old sisters, in June of 2024. They are black and white and are a bonded pair. They have been vaccinated, and spayed. One of the girls has had digestive problems that has her defecating outside of her litter box when she is not feeling well. It is not 100% of the time but when she is not well it lasts about 1-2 weeks at a time. They were barn cats but have always been kept inside since I got them. They are on special food, have been to the vet, and medically cleared. I, however, cannot continue to keep them due to medical reasons for a family member. They are not declawed and for that reason had considered having them as inside/outside cats. My husband is concerned that they will be struck by a car, and or attacked by a larger animal as we live in the country. They are both sweet girls. Millie is a bit of a bully at times, but they interact well together. They have not been around dogs, and or other cats. They have been around children, as we have several grandkids. They were born on a farm, and they already had too many barn cats to keep the kittens. I have asked the family if they would be interested in taking them back, but they are not able to do that. I have inquired around my co-workers, however, due to the knowledge that Millie has had litter box issues since last September, no one is interested. I feel awful about this. However, I have an adult child who has End Stage Renal disease that is living with us. She has many appointments and has other medical needs. This has been a challenge. I do not know if this is behavioral? As the vet has seen her many times. We had lab work done, fecal testing, switched food, used medication, all to no avail. They have access to 3 litter boxes, are feed 2x a day, dry food. And have access to water always. They have room to room throughout the house and plenty of toys. I will provide all of the food, litter, toys, and vet. Records that I have. I just want them to have a fantastic home. The kitties were born approximately April of 2024.

For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

After we have verified the adoption, Mabel Grace and Millie Joy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
