Meet the big and beautiful Gyro! This lovely fella is 90lbs of gorgeous. We are guessing he could potentially be a mix of shepherd and akita as he is independent, intelligent, and loyal. Gyro is excellent with dogs, is used to sharing his space with cats, and is such a good boy in his crate. A couple of his favorite activities are car rides and adventures that involve meeting new people- he absolutely loves everyone. When hanging out with his doggie friends he even still gets the occasional zoomies- at around 7 years old! He has no problem chilling by himself in the yard or at the foot of the couch if you are busy, but when you're ready for him he's happy to plop down next to you for his favorite thing- belly rubs! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gyro was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gyro’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gyro’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gyro’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
