Male, 2 years old, Hound/Pit Mix Favorites: laying on a blanket, walks and playing outside, food and treats Locke is such a sweet pup that is looking for his forever home. Locke was found as a stray but it hasn’t stopped him from loving people and wanting to sleep in a warm bed. He is still young and super trainable. He has even learned the commands sit, down, come, and how to walk on a leash. He does very well in his crate and loves to learn. Locke would do really well with someone that wants a companion to teach and give him the love that he needs. He has learned how to be an inside pup with us and wants to learn more and more every day. Locke has been tested and passed with kids and dogs. He gets along with cats eventually but does try to play with them at first.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Locke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Locke’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Locke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Locke’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
