Meet Mufasa, a 77-pound pit bull mix with a heart as big as his paws. Estimated to be around 3 years old, this gentle giant is housetrained, doing well with crate training, and knows basic commands. He’s affectionate, snuggly, and eager to please—truly a lover boy looking for love. Mufasa has been wonderful with the resident dogs in his foster home and has been great with a child in the home as well. We’re not quite sure how he feels about cats, as the current cat prefers to stay hidden, but he’s shown no signs of aggression. With his sweet nature and cuddly spirit, Mufasa is ready to find a forever home where he can be cherished as the loyal, loving king of the jungle he is!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mufasa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mufasa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mufasa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mufasa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
