Meet Merlin! If your ideal dog is the stay at home, watch TV, and relax all day kind of dog, Merlin is your man! At around 45 lbs and 5 years old this beagle mix fella is the most handsome introvert, and while he doesn't enjoy going out in public to show off his good looks he's happy to share all the love and affection with the people he trusts in the safety of his home. Merlin would excel in a home with structure and routine without a lot of excitement. He does extremely well with cats and other dogs, and has learned a lot about "how to dog" from his canine friends in his foster home. It is highly recommended that Merlin have a dog friend in his furever home. Merlin has some mild vision impairment which is more apparent at night, but he has no issues navigating to his comfort places, the outdoors, or finding his people. In true introvert style Merlin takes a little longer to adapt to change, but with patience and understanding he will make a wonderful companion to the right family.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Merlin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Merlin’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Merlin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Merlin’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
