About this Dog
How do you spell fun? We spell it P-O-P-P-Y! This sweetheart is just full of joy and a playful spirit. At 6 months old, she still has much to learn, but she’s eager and curious. Her foster mom said that upon arrival, she was reticent—until she had a bath, a meal and quickly realized, being a fast learner, that life is great! When Poppy goes outside, she loves to play and explore, but once inside, she quickly settles down to snuggle next to her favorite person. She’s always alert indoors—ready to follow her fosters wherever they go, not wanting to miss a chance to join in or simply be near them. Poppy can be a bit reluctant with new experiences, like visiting the vet, being leashed, or meeting someone for the first time. However, she quickly overcomes that hesitation and returns to her happy, playful self. Love seems to follow Poppy, whether it’s with other dogs or people, she is a bundle of love. Poppy has just begun living a great life and is eagerly waiting for her forever person to take her the rest of the way home
Contribute to Poppy's Stash!

100% of Poppy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Poppy.
Adopt Poppy and Receive Poppy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Poppy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Poppy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Poppy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Poppy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Poppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Poppy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Poppy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Poppy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
