About this Cat
DOB: 3/26/2020 Minnesota Just a Nice Boy from the North Well hey there! My name’s Minnesota, but you can call me Minn or even Buddy if you’d like. I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for a cozy home and a window seat or two. I don’t need much—just some pets, a soft place to nap, and maybe a few kind words now and then. You know, the simple things. I’m a pretty friendly fella, not one to cause a fuss. I’ll come over for some pets, maybe settle in next to you while you sip your coffee. I really do enjoy a nice window view—watchin’ the birds, keepin’ tabs on the neighbors... it’s a full-time job, but someone’s gotta do it. I’ve got that laid-back Midwest charm and a heart as warm as a fresh casserole. If you’re lookin’ for a sweet, polite kitty with solid manners and a love for the quiet life, well, I might just be your guy. Let’s get to know each other, yeah? I’ll be here by the window. Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. Contribute to Minnesota's Stash!

100% of Minnesota's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Minnesota.
Adopt Minnesota and Receive Minnesota's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Minnesota's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Minnesota's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Minnesota, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Minnesota's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Minnesota was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Minnesota’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Minnesota’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Minnesota’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
