About this Cat
DOB: 2/27/2021 Hey there, I'm Angelo. Although my fur may be as pure as the clouds in the sky, my journey has been anything but ordinary. You see, I have feline leukemia, but that doesn't define me. It just makes me all the more special! I'm a social butterfly, always ready to strike up a conversation with anyone who crosses my path. Whether it's a gentle meow or a hearty purr, I love to chat and share my thoughts with the world. Even though I can't go to the adoption center, I'm still waiting patiently for my forever family to come and whisk me away to a life filled with love and companionship. Until then, I'm making the most of my time here, soaking up the love and attention from the wonderful staff who take care of me. They say I'm a ray of sunshine in their day, and I like to think that my cheerful demeanor brings a little bit of joy to everyone I meet. I love to tell people long complex stories from my past. Are you ready to open your heart to a special kitty like me? Adopting a cat with feline leukemia may seem daunting, but I promise you, the love and joy I'll bring into your life will make it all worthwhile. Let's embark on this journey together and create a bond that's as strong as it is beautiful. One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat. To learn more about this condition visit: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqs Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. For more information about FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus visit this website: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.

Adopt Angelo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Angelo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Angelo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Angelo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Angelo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Angelo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Angelo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Angelo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Angelo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
