He does not like to be touched or held. He is not aggressive in any way, but is extremely cautious of people. Genesis prefers to have some places to be able to get away, and he loves to watch your every move! He is a very gentle boy, and as handsome as can be! Genesis would do best in a quiet household, and places he can climb up high such as a cat tower. Genesis loves other cats, and he would enjoy a home with a cat companion to help him feel comfortable. He is about 5 years old, litter box trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and combo tested. His adoption fee is $125. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Genesis's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Genesis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Genesis’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Genesis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Genesis’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
