About this Cat
Antonio the teddy bear - he's a stocky, muscular, playful and gentle brown tabby male, around 5 years old, with a thick neck & big 'ole man cheeks (because he wasn't neutered until we got him in early February). This guy wants to be somebody's sweetheart - just can't get enough loving. Probably/definitely lap-cat material. He was an outdoor stray who kept getting caught in a have-a-heart trap that folks who were trying to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) were using out in Clermont County - he'd eat the food (bait) and be happy as a clam when they opened the trap & let him out (they thought he must belong to someone, he was so friendly). When they finally realized he wasn't owned by anyone, they brought him in, he had several infected wounds on his head & neck & ears (probably from cat-fighting) so he needed some medical attention - all of which was fine by him cuz he was getting fed & petted!! We've found that he really doesn't like dogs - so needs to go to a home without any, please. He's fine with the other cats in his foster home; or could be happy as an only kitty too. Adoption fee (60.00) includes Spay or Neuter, vaccinations, combo-tested - negative for FeLV & FIV, and micro-chipped. If interested in adopting, please fill out our application at https://www.pfcatrescue.org/adoption-application/

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Antonio (Teddy Bear) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Antonio (Teddy Bear)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Antonio (Teddy Bear)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Antonio (Teddy Bear)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
