Tiny TEENY is an excellent listener, just look at those ears! Teeny is a sweet little girl looking for a quiet home. She's a chihuahua-type mix. What's the "mix" part? Maybe some rat terrier or min pin? She's about 5 years old and 10 pounds. Teeny spent her whole life living with seniors but landed in a rural shelter when they could no longer care for her. Teeny was so scared in the shelter. She's now in a foster home and doing very well. She's housebroken and crate trained, walks well on a leash and fine with other small friendly dogs. She enjoys being carried and cuddled. Teeny needs a quiet home with a patient adopter who will take the time to earn her trust. She just needs a day or two to settle after so much upheaval in her little life. No small kids or big dogs for Teeny. If you'd like to meet Teeny, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teeny 2025 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teeny 2025’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teeny 2025’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teeny 2025’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
