TARA BLUE is a big beautiful 3 year old tortoiseshell kitty looking for a home. She is a gentle affectionate girl who loves her toys. She also loves a good belly rub. Tara Blue was adopted from SDHR as a kitten and was recently returned to us as she was no longer a fit with the other kitties in her home. Tara Blue is a girl who thrives on stability. Disruptions to her her routine tend to stress Tara Blue out. She needs a quiet home where she will be the only kitty. No dogs or small kids for Tara Blue. Tara Blue is currently overweight, we are working on getting her back to a healthy body weight. If you're looking for a gentle affectionate companion, Tara Blue is your girl. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and microchipped.

For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tara Blue 2025 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tara Blue 2025’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tara Blue 2025’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tara Blue 2025’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
