LOVEJOY is a lively little calico kitten looking for a home. She's a bundle of fun, about 4-5 months old and ready to play. She's also happy to join in a kitty cuddle puddle with her foster siblings. Lovejoy likes a good game of hide and seek. She's a petite girl who should grow to be a small/medium adult. Kittens thrive in the companionship of other felines. Lovejoy must go to a home with another friendly cat. If you don't have another kitty, we are happy to pair Lovejoy up with another compatible feline. She's struck up quite a close friendship with Marmaduke, a big loveable orange and white tabby boy also in our care. If you'd like to meet Lovejoy, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Lovejoy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and microchipped.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lovejoy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lovejoy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lovejoy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lovejoy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lovejoy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
