About this Dog
We have Max available for adoption! Max came in on Saturday with his sister Maggie, and after being in Foster it has been determined the best thing to do is to not adopt the two dogs out together. They do not show any signs of being bonded especially when Maggie spent two days at the emergency vet. Max is a very sweet boy! He loves to play and absolutely loves toys, however he needs to learn how to share his toys. Max and Maggie were both kept as outdoor dogs together so they did not learn how to have manners when it comes to playing and sharing because they did not have much before they came to OBHR! He quickly learned the dog door at his foster home, but has had a few incidents with marking so housebreaking will be one of the things Max needs to learn however he is a quick learner! Max is basically a three-year-old puppy so he would do best in a home that is familiar with the Basset hound stubbornness and nature. He would do best in a home where someone is home frequently to teach him how to be a good boy! And he will learn, he has just never been an indoor pet before! He will need a fenced in yard. Also older kids only please! Max's adoption fee is $250 and he is currently being fostered near Cleveland. If you are interested in Max please visit our website and fill out the online application. If you are already approved or once your application is approved please email us! [email protected] Ohiobassetrescue.com

Adopt Max and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Max's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Max's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Max, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Max's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Max’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
