About this Dog
Gonna say it like it is again. Misty has had so little interest despite everything going for her. We know why. We are a basset rescue. She looks like a pit. There I said it. Do you know why we have Misty in Ohio BASSET hound rescue? Because she needed rescue and WE SAID YES. She clearly also looks basset with her short long body. But she does NOT have long years, cankles, and drool. But she checks off ALL the must haves most people want! Young only 10mo old! House trained. Good with dogs. Good with cats. Really even tho one adopter passed because their cat didn’t like her. Good with kids. Sweet, loving and playful. Fully vetted and chipped. But she looks like a pit. And our followers love and want bassets. So all of you hound dog loving and owning folks with short stubby dogs with the center of gravity of a bowling ball we beg you….SHARE THIS POST! SHARE WHERE YOU CAN WHERE ALL BREED PEOPLE HANG OUT! It’s public share it in your neighborhood groups. Share it to your pit friends who may be able to share to pit groups. SHARE SHARE SHARE! Because ALL DOGS NEED HOMES! Let’s do this people!! More details: Misty is in Columbus, her fee is $300, and apps can be submitted online at ohiobassetrescue.com. Once approved email [email protected]. Thank you!!!

Adopt Misty and Receive Misty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Misty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Misty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Misty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Misty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Misty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Misty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Misty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Misty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
