About this Dog
Halo is a happy, lazy, crazy girl. We adopted her from a rescue 2 years ago. Halo is very lovable, she will enjoy all cuddles, naps, etc. but she also requires a lot of attention. Halo is 3 but stuck in puppy brain. She does not understand other personal space for other dogs (meaning she can be over playful, and just get a little over excited while playing), as well as not being the greatest at pottying outside. Halo has struggled all 2 years to use the potty outside, she will need a lot of help potty training.. I have tried crate training she will use the bathroom in the cage with no issues. we think this stems from her previous home/ being purchased from Petland (they are allowed to use the potty in there crates) Halo is very curious, she loves to go around the house and get into things she probably shouldn’t, she’s counter height so don’t leave your food out LOL. Halo will require an experienced big dog owner, and will require someone who is able to give her AMPLE attention , and have patience with her flaws. Halo is all around a great dog but requires TLC, we believe these issues can be broken as long as you have patience with her. We cannot provide her the attention she needs due to having 5 other dogs and a baby. She’s great with all kids of all ages, all dogs, livestock, & people.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Halo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Halo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Halo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Halo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
