About this Dog
Where are our runners, rollerbladers and outdoor activists? If you are looking for a partner who loves to be active then you must meet Elton! Play ball with him, and you will be friends for life! He has been trained on the basic commands at the DASH Prison Training program. He is a young Plott Hound mix who has a beautiful brindle coat. He is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and humans. However, he does not like to share his food or toys. He has not been tested with children or cats so a proper introduction is in order. He lives to play and has a lot of energy to burn. Elton is a social lad and does well in crowds. However, due to his hyperactivity and excitement, he does tend to jump on people. Nothing a regular exercise regiment couldn't fix. Of course the training program is working on this with Elton. He is a vocal dog. Elton is the most affectionate dog you will ever meet and is eagerly waiting for his forever home. He is a vocal dog so an apartment or condo would not be an ideal home for him. He also likes to bark at passing cars as if he wants to go for a ride. He will require a good, tall fence as he is a climber. Please don't let his outgoing personality keep you from making this guy your own. We know the perfect home awaits Elton. 100% of Elton's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Elton.
Adopt Elton and Receive Elton's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Elton's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Elton's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Elton, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Elton's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Elton was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Elton’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Elton’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Elton’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
